What an interesting trail. We had hoped for some rain or fog or something when exploring the rain forest but it was another perfect day. The weather we've had here for the last 5 weeks makes us feel almost guilty with all the weather extremes in other parts of the country. 
It wasn't long before we stumbled upon this flying squirrel enjoying her pine cone lunch
Even with the sunshine the hanging mosses, ferns and lichen are most unusual.
There were several of these weird bumpy trees.
What great pictures - specially of the bumpy trees. Definitely going on my list of places to see when we get back out to the coast again.
