Last night Zach and I made plans to go shopping today for a new TV to replace the old analog CRT TV in the front of the coach. After looking at several models at Best Buy we brought home a 32" set that fit the existing enclosure perfectly. We will take the old 28" CRT model to The Goodwill Store in Clarksville. How sweet it is to have a modern TV/monitor to watch movies on.
We barely got the utilities hooked up when Zach showed up with his friend Derek. Charlie went nuts; you'd think it had been a year since she saw him. We felt the same way!
Zach gave us a tour of the base and took us to this really cool Army museum.
Martha and Zach headed into the largest PX in the world. It's huge inside, like a mall.
Ever since we arrived here we've wanted to hike some of the trails here in the park. There was no rain or snow forecast for today so we picked two short trails for a total hike of 4 miles. Tomorrow we head for Fort Campbell.
We thought we heard the pitter patter of snow and sleet last night. Guess I shouldn't have tossed the ice scraper. It was 73 degrees here yesterday; this morning 35 degrees, yikes!
